Synopsis

A gripping psychological pearl about a dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship. Jenna Lane, a young woman trying to escape mother´s pressure to become an Olympic athlete and define her own individuality. De Mornay shines as Celia , a deeply disturbed woman with addictions to emotional abuse and handguns, whose life revolves around her daughter's competitive career. As she attempts to manipulate Jenna, Celia grows increasingly irrational and ultimately spirals out of control. She will do literally anything to get control over the situation and her hands on the one object that truly turns her on: a gun.
